What is property development finance?

Property development finance is a type of short-term loan taken out to fund residential, commercial or mixed-use development projects. Development finance can be used towards:

How does property development finance work?

Property development finance works much like any other loan – the borrower acquires capital from a lender secured against an asset, usually land or property.
