Our Story
Back in 2015, we noticed a major problem in New Zealand’s property development industry—too many great commercial projects were failing to secure funding. Tired of watching good ideas go to waste, we consolidated our expertise and deep understanding of the market and founded MCS Capital.
Our mission was simple: to create smart, flexible finance solutions that help developers and investors get their projects off the ground and over the finish line.
Today, we continue that mission, building strong partnerships and working closely with our clients to turn potential into progress.

Chris
About Chris
Chris’ expertise comes from more than 30 years of experience in strategy, governance and leadership roles spanning diverse industries including property, finance, technology and healthcare. He also has law degrees from the Universities of Otago and British Columbia.
Chris is married with two sons and is keen on travel, sports administration and multi-sport racing.
Scott
About Scott
Soon after starting his career in property development, Scott established several successful hospitality businesses across New Zealand. Having maintained an interest in property, Scott subsequently established a residential development company before honing his focus on the commercial market.
Scott is a dedicated family man with a wife and two kids, living on a lifestyle property where he enjoys the outdoors. “Running is a big part of my life, providing both challenge and balance. Whether it's work, family, or personal goals, I strive for growth and fulfillment in everything I do."
About Mike
Mike is an experienced governor and director and specialises in the property, aviation and finance sectors. He has a firm understanding of the challenges faced in today's operating environment and is passionate about seeing business succeed.
Outside of MCS Capital, he holds several directorships with private companies and is a licensed pilot. Mike has 5 children and enjoys racing in endurance motorsport.
